How to use the Rotate PDF tool
- Choose your PDF file.
- Select the rotation: 90° clockwise, 180° or 90° counter-clockwise.
- Click the page previews you want to rotate, or leave none selected to rotate everything.
- Click “Rotate PDF” and download the corrected file.
Rotate permanently, not just in the viewer
Most PDF viewers let you rotate the view, but the change is lost when you close the file or send it to someone else. This tool changes the page rotation stored inside the PDF, so the pages open the right way in every app, on every device and when printed.
Rotation is lossless: the page content is not redrawn or compressed, only the orientation setting of each page is updated.
Typical reasons to rotate a PDF
- Scanned documents where some pages were fed into the scanner the wrong way.
- Phone scans of receipts or contracts saved in landscape.
- Wide tables and charts that should be read in landscape while the rest stays portrait.
- Presentations exported with the wrong orientation.

Frequently asked questions
Can I rotate only some pages?
Yes. Type the page numbers or ranges in the “Pages” field, for example 1, 4-6. Other pages stay as they are.
Will text still be searchable?
Yes. Rotation does not touch the page content, so selectable text and links keep working.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no upload, so the limit is only your device’s memory. Files of a few hundred megabytes work on most computers.
Can I rotate a page by 45 degrees?
No. The PDF format only supports page rotation in steps of 90 degrees.
