How to use the QR Code Generator tool
- Type or paste a URL or text.
- Choose the size, error correction and colors.
- Download the QR code as PNG for screens or SVG for print.
Static QR codes that never expire
The QR code contains your text or link directly. It does not go through a redirect service, so it never expires, has no scan limits and keeps working even if this website disappears. Many “free” generators create dynamic codes that stop working when a trial ends; this one does not.
Tips for QR codes that scan reliably
- Keep strong contrast: dark code on a light background works best.
- Leave the white border (quiet zone) around the code.
- Print at least 2 × 2 cm (0.8 × 0.8 in), bigger for long links or long distances.
- Use higher error correction if the code may get dirty or if you place a small logo over it.
- Use SVG for print: it stays sharp at any size.

Frequently asked questions
Do the QR codes expire?
No. They are static codes that contain your data directly and work forever.
Can I use them commercially?
Yes, on menus, packaging, posters and business cards, with no attribution required.
What is error correction?
Extra data that lets a code scan even if part of it is damaged. Higher levels make the code denser.
Can I track scans?
Not with static codes. Tracking requires a redirect service, which also means the code depends on that service.
