Get a good-looking PDF from Excel

Excel to PDF uses the page setup stored in your workbook: print area, orientation, scaling and repeated header rows. If the PDF splits a wide table across several pages, open the file in Excel, go to Page Layout, set the orientation to Landscape and choose “Fit all columns on one page”, then save and convert again.

  • Each worksheet starts on a new page.
  • Formulas are shown as their calculated values.
  • Charts, cell colors, borders and number formats are kept.
  • Hidden sheets are not included.

When to send a spreadsheet as PDF

Send a PDF when the reader only needs to see the numbers: invoices, price lists, reports, timesheets and budgets. It cannot be changed by accident, opens on any device without Excel, and keeps formulas and other sheets private.

Privacy and security

Your file is sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection to our own conversion server, converted, and deleted immediately after the result is sent back. It is never stored, shared or looked at, and the converter has no internet access of its own.
